Suits Lazy Boy type rocking chairs which have a wooden base frame similar to the one pictured. The raiser is fully adjustable to fit a variety of base sizes. Because the raiser has a special device that locks it onto the chair base, the chair has perfect stability but the user can still rock and use the reclining facility. Includes splayed feet that widen the raiser base to increase stability and strong clamps that secure the raiser tightly to the chair.

INCREASED STABILITY: Lazy Boy Chairs have a narrow base that might cause the chair to over balance when it is raised. To ensure your safety we designed the Lazy Boy Chair Raiser with splayed feet to widen the base and increase stability.

HOLDING THE RAISER TO THE CHAIR: Lazy Boy Chairs also recline and rock back and forward. The rocking action particularly as you are getting out of your chair can cause the chair to come off a standard raiser. To ensure the Lazy Boy Raiser stays in place we have designed two clamps at the rear of the raiser to hold the raiser firmly to the chair.

The Community Fundamentals course is something I wish I did straight from university and prior to actually starting my role in community. There were so many tips and tricks that would have made the last few months a lot easier to handle and make the transition from student to OT a smoother process.
