This course is designed to:
- Increase confidence and understanding regarding oncology terminology and treatments
- Learn practical tips to assist with managing discomfort in sitting, dyspnoea, positioning in bed and engaging people in energy conservation education
- Increase knowledge and understanding of Malignant Spinal Cord Compression and the OT role in assessment and management
- Increase knowledge of the mechanisms of Cancer related fatigue and build confidence in the OT role in assessment and management
- Increase understanding of the special considerations for Pressure Injury prevention and management in Oncology and Palliative Care
This course offers more than 7 hours of oncology education, presenting evidence-based interventions and directing you to additional resources and references for ongoing learning.
