Calma Studio Terms & Booking Policy

1. Informed Consent

By attending your appointment, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Massage therapy is provided for relaxation, therapeutic, and remedial purposes only.
• You have disclosed all relevant health conditions, injuries, allergies, and medications that may impact your treatment.
• You understand that it is your responsibility to keep your therapist informed of any changes to your health.
• You may request adjustments to pressure, temperature, or treatment at any time.
• You have the right to pause or stop your treatment at any point.

2. Scope of Practice

Our therapists do not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe treatment.

Massage is not a substitute for medical care, and you are encouraged to seek advice from a qualified health professional where needed.

Any inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate termination of the session and refusal of future services.

3. Appointments & Punctuality

We ask that you arrive on time to honour both your appointment and those that follow.

Late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment time while the full fee still applies.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that life happens — we simply ask for consideration:

• A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
• Late cancellations (within 24 hours) may incur a 50% fee.
• Failure to attend your appointment (“no show”) may incur the full appointment fee.
• Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may require prepayment for future bookings.

5. Payments & Gift Vouchers

Payment is required at the time of your appointment unless otherwise arranged.

Gift vouchers are:

• Non-refundable
• Non-transferable
• Valid for the specified period on the voucher

Health fund rebates are available for eligible remedial massage treatments. It is your responsibility to check your individual cover.

6. Health & Safety

Please do not attend your appointment if you are feeling unwell, experiencing symptoms of illness, or have a contagious condition.

Calma Studio reserves the right to reschedule appointments if there are concerns about health and safety.

7. Respect for Space

Calma Studio is a calm, grounding environment. We ask that all clients:

• Respect the space, staff, and other clients
• Maintain appropriate behaviour at all times

8. Privacy

Your personal and health information is kept confidential and used only for the purpose of providing safe and effective treatment.
